1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site. We operate on our own with no ties to any government office. We do not store official criminal records and we cannot pull records, run official background checks, or file documents for anyone.

The site points to Burke County Sheriff, the criminal courts, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's Georgia Crime Information Center, the Georgia Sex Offender Registry, and third-party research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

• Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
• Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
• Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
• Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
• Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
• Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Using information from this site or a linked tool to harass, stalk, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate is prohibited and may be a crime. Georgia law and the Georgia Sex Offender Registry conditions restrict misuse of registry data. It exists for public safety awareness, not vigilante action or unlawful discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

For a purpose governed by the FCRA, use an authorized official process or an FCRA-compliant consumer reporting agency.

• The site will stay up and running without interruptions
• Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes

Criminal records change all the time - charges are filed, dismissed, sealed, and expunged. We try to keep up, but gaps are unavoidable. Nothing on this site should be treated as an official statement from a court, sheriff, or government agency.

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Burke County Criminal History or its content partners. They may not be copied, distributed, modified, or adapted without prior written permission.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for damages that come from using this site - including decisions made based on information found here or through any linked service.

Georgia law governs these terms. Any dispute tied to use of the site must be filed in a Georgia court. Government record access remains subject to O.C.G.A. §50-18-70 et seq., and criminal-history dissemination includes the rules in O.C.G.A. §§35-3-34 and 35-3-35.

We can limit or block your access to this site at any time, for any reason, with no warning.

14. Severability

If a court rules that any part of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, the rest stand. The problem section gets adjusted only as much as needed to make it work.
